Salt Lake City fire crews responded Tuesday morning to a fully involved car fire.

The sedan was traveling west on 500 South when a mechanical issue caused the blaze about 11:50 a.m., said Captain Davin Halvorsen. The car pulled over near 300 West.

The passenger suffered a "very minor singe," from the flames, Halvorsen said.
