After reading the op-ed by Sen. Wayne Niederhauser, ("Don't put ambition over morals, as I did once," Sept. 11), I have two questions for the senator. First, if you regret your actions of 10 years ago so strongly, then why don't you resign your senate seat? Second, if candidates should "stand for ... basic moral values of right and wrong," and "treat others, including your opponent, with respect," then how can you support the Republican candidate for president?
