A ceremony was held Sunday in a field near Sandy City Hall to remember the lives lost on the 15th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Dubbed the Healing Field, the site features more than 3,000 U.S. flags and has been the scene of commemorations each year, a way to salute those who died in the initial attacks and the emergency personnel and military members who fell in the aftermath.
