The Utah Grizzlies on Wednesday announced that the team has re-signed veteran forward Mathieu Aubin.

Aubin, 29, returns for his fourth year in Utah after missing all of last season; sustaining an injury in the team's final preseason game. Despite being absent on the ice, Aubin was still very visible in the community and assisting Grizzlies coach and general manager Tim Branham in the office and on the bench.

"We are very pleased to have Mathieu returning to the lineup," Branham said in a statement. "He was definitely missed last year in our lineup and in the locker room. He is a guy that can still produce on the ice and also be a mentor for younger players."

A veteran of 556 professional games and three professional championships (2 ECHL, 1 AHL), Aubin has totaled 42 goals and 70 assists for 112 points in 130 regular season games with the Grizzlies and has one goal and nine assists for ten points in eleven playoff games with Utah.
