The U.S. women's national team is returning to Utah.

On Tuesday, the team announced a pair of upcoming friendlies against Switzerland in mid-October, the first of which will take place at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy on Wednesday, Oct. 19. Four days after the Americans and Swiss face off in Utah, they'll play at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn., on Sunday, Oct. 23.

The visit to the Wasatch Front will be the fifth all-time for the USWNT. In its three previous matches at Rio Tinto Stadium in 2010, 2012 and 2014, the U.S. have won by a combined score of 11-1. In its most recent match in Utah in Sept. 2014, the Americans walloped Mexico 8-0. Their Utah debut came in a 5-0 win over Ireland at Rice-Eccles Stadium in 2003.

The most-decorated women's national team in the world is coming off a disappointing summer. The U.S., favorites to three-peat as gold medalists at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, suffered a shocking exit in penalty kicks to Sweden in the quarterfinal round.

Which stars are called in for this two-game stretch against the Swiss remains to be seen, but one big name who won't be on the list is goalkeeper Hope Solo. The 35-year-old received a six-month suspension from U.S. Soccer last week for "conduct that is counter to the organization's principles." Following the loss to Sweden, Solo sounded off to the press, calling the Swedes "cowards."

The U.S. reconvenes for the first time since its Olympic elimination in mid-September when it faces Thailand on in Columbus, Ohio, on Sept. 15, and the Netherlands in Atlanta on Sept. 18.

The friendlies against Switzerland in October will be the first for the U.S. following the 2016 National Women's Soccer League season, which plays its final on Oct. 9 in Houston, Texas.
