A Utah man was injured and his passenger killed after a single-vehicle crash in Idaho on Thursday morning.

The 23-year-old man, of Murray, was driving south on Gentile Valley Road near Grace, Idaho, when he lost control on a curve about 8:20 a.m., according to a news release from Idaho State Police.

The driver then overcorrected, which caused the truck to roll. He was transported to a local hospital.

The truck's passenger, Steven Soderborg, 23, of El Paso, Texas, died at the scene.

Both occupants were wearing seat belts. The crash is under investigation.
