$14 • The Silver Star Cafe blasted its competition recently by winning the Park City Area Restaurant Association Summer Cocktail Contest. Jeff LaBounty, the restaurant's general manager, spent months perfecting this drink, made by injecting a hollowed-out ice sphere with a mix of premium bourbon, vermouth, 10-year-old port, house-made balsamic syrup and peach and black walnut bitters. It's garnished with a fresh peach slice. When it's presented to customers, the server taps the sphere with a small hammer, letting it explode in the glass.
