• Bank of America Corp., up 57 cents to $15.05

Bank stocks climbed as investors believed a strong jobs report makes it more likely interest rates will rise later this year.

• Priceline Group Inc., up $54.23 to $1,414.22

The online booking service posted a bigger profit than expected and led consumer companies higher.

• El Pollo Loco Holdings Inc., up 37 cents to $13.45

The Tex-Mex food chain's stock jumped after its results were stronger than analysts expected.

• FireEye Inc., down $2.02 to $14.73

The security software maker reported weak sales, cut its billings and revenue estimates, and will eliminate up to 400 jobs.

• Kraft Heinz Co., up $3.25 to $88.79

The maker of Oscar Mayer meats, Jell-O pudding and Velveeta cheese, posted a larger profit than analysts anticipated.

• Symantec Corp., up 86 cents to $21.89

The security software company disclosed better-than-expected results and gave a strong full-year profit forecast.

• Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., down $12.04 to $63.28

The company said its drug Opdivo did not halt progression of non-small cell lung cancer in a clinical study.

• Newmont Mining Corp., down 48 cents to $44.43

The price of gold dropped following the encouraging report for the U.S. economy.
