Utah's temperatures will be going up, up, up in the coming days as a wave of high pressure settles over the state, National Weather Service forecasters say.

The hot, dry weather and clear skies will continue through the middle of next week, followed by the possible return of thunderstorms.

Salt Lake City's temperature is expected to be near 93 on Thursday, with an overnight low in the 60s.

Logan's temperatures will hover about 90, dropping to 55 overnight and temperatures in St. George will reach 104. Overnight lows in southern Utah will be in the 70s.
