Guns will not be allowed at the Republican Convention in Cleveland. Why? This seems a perfect opportunity for the GOP to pledge its fidelity to the NRA's creed of a gun in every hand.

What could possibly go wrong? The GOP could show the world how they promote safety and our Second Amendment rights. I am certain that all of the Utah delegation would be willing to show their support!

Everyone would be given a handgun and an assault rifle upon entering the venue. This will show us how effective arming all citizens would be! This has been the rationale of the Republican lawmakers after every tragedy: More guns would have prevented the shooting.

Please do not be hypocritical. If by chance everything does not go as planned, the nation can hold a moment of silence. After the moment of silence, the legislative process can continue as usual.
