From Logan to St. George, Utah is set for another round of isolated afternoon rain showers and thunderstorms on Thursday, the National Weather Service predicts.

Statewide the chance of rain is between 20 and 30 percent, forecasters say.

Highs will be in the 70s along the Wasatch Front, with the overnight temperatures dipping back to the low 40s.

Logan's high will be 67, with winds of up to 7 mph out of the northwest by afternoon. In St George, the high will be near 80, with winds out of the southeast at about 10 mph and a 30 percent chance of precipitation, forecasters say.

Similar weather patterns are expected through Friday and into the first part of the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
