The Weber County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible homicide that occurred Sunday.

Deputies responded to a report at 8:40 a.m. that a man had possibly "hurt or killed his wife" at Lakeside Village, 6486 E. Utah Highway 39, near Huntsville, a Weber County Sheriff's Office news release said.

When the first responding deputies couldn't make contact with anyone at the condo, they secured the scene and called in SWAT. Shortly after noon, members of the SWAT team entered the condo and discovered a woman's body.

Her 60-year-old husband was detained by police as a suspect in her death. The names of the victim and suspect were not immediately released, pending notification of family. Both the woman and her husband had recently moved to Utah from out of state.

Police anticipate autopsy results will be available Monday.
