1. Philadelphia 76ers • LSU PF Ben Simmons

The 76ers are crowded in the front court, but Simmons is the prospect in this draft with the most superstar potential. There are concerns about his competitiveness and his one season at LSU was underwhelming, but he's the light at the end of Philly's perpetual tanking tunnel.

2. Los Angeles Lakers • Duke SF Brandon Ingram

Ingram is neck-and-neck with Simmons, but falls to two here. He needs to add muscle, but has the length and defensive ability to turn into a star alongside LA's young core of D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle.

3. Boston Celtics • Croatian PF/Center Dragan Bender (from Brooklyn)

After Kristaps Porzingis' success last season, the Celtics snap up Bender as a similar type of player. At 19, Bender is still a project, but he's a future upgrade over Jared Sullinger and would add to an already talented core of Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder and Marcus Smart.

4. Phoenix Suns • Cal SF Jaylen Brown

Brown averaged almost 15 points and six rebounds per game for Cal last season. He's got the versatility and athleticism to bolster Phoenix's scoring alongside prolific shooter Devin Booker.

5. Minnesota Timberwolves • Kentucky SG Jamal Murray

Murray was incendiary from behind the arc last season, hitting nearly 41 percent of his shots from deep. Him opening the floor for Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins is a dream scenario for new coach Tom Thibodeau.

6. New Orleans Pelicans • Oklahoma SG Buddy Hield

Another volume shooter, Hield shot a blistering 46 percent from three point range last season. After an injury-riddled 2015 for Anthony Davis, the Pelicans add a piece to better space the floor and generate scoring from different angles.

7. Denver Nuggets • Marquette PF Henry Ellison (from New York)

The Nuggets are set at center and point guard between Nikola Jokic and Emmanuel Mudiay, but need more out of the forward spots. With Hield and Murray gone, the Nuggets get the rangy Ellison.

8. Sacramento Kings • Providence PG Kris Dunn

The Rajon Rondo experiment is coming to an end and with new coach Dave Joerger, the Kings go with Dunn as his heir apparent. He'll pull the trigger in Sacramento's offense as the best point guard prospect in this draft.

9. Toronto Raptors • Kentucky PF/C Skal Labissiere

Labissiere is a boom or bust prospect and is green, but the Raptors have the talent to take the time to develop him properly. He's got the tools to be a fantastic building block for the Eastern Conference Finals participants.

10. Milwaukee Bucks • Utah C Jakob Poeltl

The local prospect falls just inside the top 10 and will boost the Bucks' options after a disappointing debut season in Milwaukee from Greg Monroe. He was dominant at times in the post for Utah last year and might be the most obvious fit in the early part of the draft.

11. Orlando Magic • Michigan State PF/C Deyonta Davis

The Magic have several options here between Davis, Washington's Marquese Chriss and Frenchman Timothe Luwawu, but the Michigan State product gets the nod. Davis brings shooting range and spacing ability to open up differing rotation possibilities alongside Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic.

12. Utah Jazz • Michigan State SG Denzel Valentine

Valentine is older, but provides production over projection for the Jazz after the franchise went with Dante Exum and Trey Lyles in the last two drafts. Valentine is a do-it-all type with scoring, rebounding, assisting and shooting skills.

13. Phoenix Suns • Washington PF Marquese Chriss (from Washington)

No one's stock rose more over the course of the college basketball season than Chriss'. After moving on from Markieff Morris, they grab arguably the most athletic forward in the draft and rebuild the forward positions on the fly after selecting Brown earlier.

14. Chicago Bulls • Gonzaga PF/C Domantas Sabonis

Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol could both be gone this summer, leaving the Bulls with unsettled post options. Sabonis isn't afraid of doing the rebounding dirty work and outplayed Poeltl in the NCAA Tournament.

15. Denver Nuggets (from Houston) • Turkish SG Furkan Korkmaz

The Nuggets are young and loaded with three first round picks, so stashing a player like Korkmaz would behoove the team. At 18-years-old, Korkmaz has competed well in Europe and has the shooting touch to develop into a consistent contributor in the NBA with time.

16. Boston Celtics (from Dallas) • French SG/SF Timothe Luwawu

Like the Nuggets, the Celtics have too many picks and not enough roster holes, making Luwawu a solid choice here. Luwawu is a theatrical player on the wing that could develop for a year or two in Europe before joining Boston.

17. Memphis Grizzlies • Notre Dame PG Demetrius Jackson

Mike Conley's contract is up and the Grizzlies may need to look in a different direction if his contract price tag rises too high. Jackson has the size teams are looking for at point guard and can cut through traffic to finish at the rim.

18. Detroit Pistons • North Carolina PF Brice Johnson

This seems to be a natural fit for both player and team. The Pistons were looking for front court help at the trade deadline and Johnson is the best remaining forward prospect after averaging 17 points and 11 boards last season.

19. Denver Nuggets (from Portland) • Vanderbilt Center Damian Jones

Jokic is the clear starter, but the Nuggets add some depth with this pick. Jones has the frame to succeed and fits better as coming off the bench to start his career at the NBA level.

20. Indiana Pacers • Vanderbilt SG/PG Wade Baldwin IV

George Hill is a free agent next season, so the Pacers go with a combo guard here. He's got a knack for defense and averaged 14 points and five assists with the Commodores last year.

21. Atlanta Hawks • UNLV PF/C Stephen Zimmerman

Al Horford can walk in unrestricted free agency this season and even if he returns, the Hawks could use this pick to build depth. Zimmerman is athletic and still growing into his potential.

22. Charlotte Hornets • Maryland PF/C Diamond Stone

Former Jazzman Al Jefferson is headed for free agency and is on the downslope of his career. Stone is green, but isn't afraid to mix it up in the post for a Charlotte team that needs some edginess next season.

23. Boston Celtics • Croatian Center Ante Zizic

Boston dips into the Croatian talent pool twice after taking Bender. At 19, Zizic is still coming into his own and the Celtics have the time and already full roster to see how he pans out.

24. Philadelphia 76ers (from Miami) • Florida State SG Malik Beasley

The Sixers need scoring from any and all sources on the floor. Enter Beasley, who averaged 16 points per game in his freshman season at FSU.

25. Los Angeles Clippers • Kansas PF/C Cheick Diallo

Blake Griffin was hampered by injuries and the Clippers relied heavily on DeAndre Jordan. Diallo has a ways to go to become a finished product, but can contribute as a backup at both positions for Los Angeles.

26. Philadelphia 76ers • Spanish PF Juan Hernangomez

The Sixers grabbed two contributors in Simmons and Beasley, leaving this pick wide open. The pick and stash Hernangomez overseas after picking his brother last season before trading him to the Knicks.

27. Toronto Raptors • Baylor SF Taurean Prince

The Raptors added a project early and go with more of a sure thing in Prince here. He's a classic contributor on defense and behind the arc coming off the bench.

28. Phoenix Suns (from Cleveland) • Croatian Center Ivica Zubac

Zubac is even less NBA ready than coutryman Zizic, but offers the size and upside to eventually complement Alex Len in Phoenix.

29. San Antonio Spurs • Virginia SG Malcolm Brogdon

Brogdon is one of the older prospects in this draft, but is a lock down defender and a good shooter. He fits the mentality of the Spurs and could be a steal at this spot.

30. Golden State Warriors • Saint Joseph's SF Deandre' Bembry

The Warriors nab a player who elevated his stock at the NBA Combine. Bembry has the length and versatility to defend several spots on the floor off the bench.
