Two of Utah's major hipster institutions are joining forces this summer.

Craft Lake City, the nonprofit that advocates the local DIY culture, will partner with the Twilight Concert Series, creating a new Craft Market that will run during the summer series' shows at Pioneer Park.

The Craft Market will showcase some of the Craft Lake City festival's artisans, selling such items as jewelry, screen-printing, craft foods and DIY-engineered electronics, a statement from Craft Lake City said.

Ten artisans will be chosen from past festivals, or from this year's DIY Festival (set for Aug. 12-14), to sell their wares at each of the seven concerts in the Twilight Concert Series — which runs on Thursday nights from July 21 to Sept. 1.

Applications for the Craft Lake City DIY Festival are being accepted through April 17. The acts performing in this year's concert series will be announced later this year.
