Moraga, Calif. • Makenzi Morrison Pulsiper scored 26 points in BYU's 65-45 win over St. Mary's.

Lexi Eaton Rydalch scored 20 points and had five rebounds and two assists for BYU (20-4, 12-1 West Coast Conference).

BYU remains first in the conference. The Cougars shot 56 percent from the 3-point line and 41.4 percent from the field. They scored 30 points off of turnovers and had 16 steals. BYU went into the second half with a 40-19 lead and kept control of the game to the finish.

New Mexico State 59, Utah Valley 53 • In Orem, the Wolverines fell to undefeated, league-leading New Mexico State.

UVU (11-13, 4-5 Western Athletic Conference) led 51-50 with 1:45 remaining in the fourth quarter before Moriah Mack scored a 3-pointer to give the Aggies (20-3, 9-0) the lead. Wolverine Sam Loggins scored a layup with 30 seconds left to bring the score within two, but the Aggies made 4 of 4 free throws and UVU's attempt at an upset fell short. Loggins led the Wolverines with 20 points, six rebounds and six blocks.

Eastern Washington 64, Southern Utah 53 • The Thunderbirds dropped the last game in their road trip in a loss to Eastern Washington.

SUU (2-19, 0-11 Big Sky Conference) went into the fourth quarter with a 43-41 lead. The Eagles went on a 12-0 run to take control of the game. Forward Jessica Richardson recorded a double-double, with 22 points and 13 rebounds for the T-Birds.

Utah State 84, Wyoming 75 • Funda Nakkasoglu led the Aggies with 32 points in Utah State's win.

Nakkasoglu had her third 30-point game of the season and is tied for 18th place on the school's single-game scoring list. Nakkasoglu scored 10 of the Aggies' first 12 points.

Utah State improved to 11-11 overall and 6-5 in the Mountain West Conference to tie for fifth place in the league.

During the final minute of the game, Nakkasoglu scored two free throws and then added the final points 10 seconds later, to secure the win.

North Dakota 85, Weber State 78 OT • The Wildcats dropped an overtime decision against North Dakota despite having only 10 turnovers.

Four players scored in double-digits for Weber State (15-6, 7-3 Big Sky).

Dionne Coe scored a 3-pointer with 1:32 remaining to make the score 70-68 and give Weber State its first lead of the game. The Fighting Hawks tied the game at 70 to send it into overtime. North Dakota went on an 8-1 run in the first three minutes of overtime and kept control until the final buzzer.

SLCC 88, Colorado Northwestern 51 • The Bruins extended their winning streak to eight with a win over Colorado Northwestern.

Three players scored in double-digits for SLCC (26-1, 11-1 SWAC), led by Tilar Clark, with 17. Ma'ata Epenisa had 14 and Dominique Mills added 11.

Westminster 66, Western New Mexico 60 • The Griffins held off Western New Mexico to complete a weekend sweep of conference play.

Mika Pinner led Westminster (9-12, 6-11 RMAC) with 18 points.

Men's basketball

SLCC 75, Colorado Northwestern 35 • SLCC won against Colorado Northwestern at home, led by Taylor Rawson and Conner Toolson, with 12 points apiece.

SLCC (22-5, 9-3 Scenic West Athletic Conference) is in second place in the league.

Eastern Washington 81, Southern Utah 67 • The Thunderbirds lost against Eastern Washington and have dropped nine of their past 10 games.

Westminster 74, Western New Mexico 71 • Jordan Pryor hit an 80-footer to give the Griffins the win against Western New Mexico.

Zerrion Payton led the Griffins (13-8, 9-8 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) with 22 points, followed by Brandon Warr, with 16, and Casey Evans, with 13.

Men's tennis

Utah 7, No. 4 Montana 0 • The Utes swept Montana in straight sets.

Utah 6, Montana State 1 • Utah set a school record with its second win of the day, improving its record to 9-0.

No. 52 Denver 4, BYU 3 • BYU (8-1) lost its first match of the season to Denver (5-2).

Men's volleyball

No. 3 BYU 3, No. 10 UC Santa Barbara 0 • Brendan Sander contributed a season-high 15 kills and a career-high six blocks and the Cougars won in straight sets (25-17, 25-23, 25-14). Ben Patch and Jake Langlois had 11 kills each.

BYU (8-2, 6-2 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) hit a .487 clip and UC Santa Barbara (8-5, 4-4 MPSF) had a .239 clip.

Women's tennis

Denver 4, BYU 3 • The Cougars (1-2) dropped their first home match this season in a loss to Denver (6-1).

Portland State 7, Southern Utah 0 • Evgenia Marushko and Veronika Rogova pushed their matches to three sets, but fell to Portland.
