One person has died after a head-on crash Tuesday night in Grand County.

An SUV and a semitruck crashed on State Road 191 about 10 miles south of Moab, said Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce. The crash occurred about 8:35 p.m.

One of the two people in the SUV died, while the other was flown to the hospital, Royce said. The second person's condition was not immediately available.

One person in the semi also suffered minor injuries.

Troopers have not yet released the identity of the deceased.

The crash shut down State Road 191 until late Tuesday.
