Lewiston, Idaho • Police in Idaho say a man drove a stolen car to a meeting with officers while already facing felony theft charges.

The Lewiston Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1P0RqgK ) that court records say the 49-year-old Culdesac resident was arrested Tuesday after leaving the Lewiston Police Department in a Pontiac Bonneville that was reported stolen Monday.

While the man was in jail for the Pontiac theft, deputies also charged him with stealing a Ford pickup truck in Lewiston this month. The truck was later found in Sweetwater.

His bond was set at $5,000 and he's due in court for the most recent charges next Wednesday.

He's also scheduled to be in court this Wednesday for a change of plea hearing on felony charges of burglary and grand theft.
