64.99 a bottle • On Saturday, High West Distillery will release Yippee Ki-Yay, a limited-release whiskey made by aging its Double Rye in oak barrels previously used for vermouth and syrah. It gets cinnamon and herbal flavors from the vermouth and hints of blackberries from the syrah, said owner David Perkins. Only 3,000 bottles were produced and will be available for sale as part of the distillery's annual Repeal Day celebration. On Dec. 5. 1933, the 18th amendment was repealed, ending the prohibition of alcohol in the United States. Utah was the 36th and deciding vote needed to change the Constitution. In addition to bottles, Yippee Ki-Yay can be ordered in a cocktail at both High West locations: 703 Park Ave. , Park City; and at Blue Sky Ranch, 27649 Old Lincoln Highway, Wanship.
