Zhu Parker

Logan | Defender | Junior

One of Parker's best moments of the season came in the Class 3A semifinals against Desert Hills when she scored on a header, a big momentum change in the match. "Zhu was great in the preseason and even better in the postseason," said Logan coach Sven Rasmussen. "As she developed into an attacking outside back, she helped give us balance and an extra body in the attack. … There were several moments in the final where she would be on the ground and still find a way to block a passing lane and get the ball."

Haylee Cacciacarne

Davis | Defender | Senior

The University of Utah commit was the leader of a defense that earned 14 shutouts and gave up only eight goals all season. "Haylee is a very gifted defender in the air and makes good decisions with the ball," said Davis coach Soulyvanh Phongsavath. "She is difficult to get behind because of her speed and great position. She goes in hard to every tackle and is truly a complete center back. She does a fantastic job organizing the defense and has improved her distribution tremendously."

Olivia Burnett

Timpanogos | Defender | Senior

Burnett, who has committed to play for Utah State in the fall, was a big reason Timpanogos made its run to the 4A title game. "She was the heart and soul of our back line," Timpanogos coach Megan Fereday said. "Her tenacity, consistency and leadership anchored our defense. … Her speed, counterattacking abilities and fantastic one-on-one skills helped us win games and led to our success this year. … She is a coachable player who is always willing and ready to learn, and is a great captain and teammate."

Olivia Wade

Davis | Defender | Sophomore

Wade played forward, midfield and defense this season, making her a valuable component on a national championship team with many star players. That said, she did much of her damage on offense. Wade helped lead the Darts to their second straight 5A title by scoring 32 goals in 16 games. "Olivia is a very complete player," said Davis coach Soulyvanh Phongsavath. "In addition to being incredibly athletic, she is also a very skilled soccer player. She is easily one of, if not the most, dynamic players I have ever had the pleasure of coaching."

Ireland Dunn

Davis | Forward/midfielder | Senior

Dunn was last year's Tribune MVP and a senior captain who has signed to play with the University of Utah next fall. She scored 17 goals this season, including a golden goal in the team's only overtime game of the year, against American Fork. She averaged 15 goals a season while at Davis. "She is one of the most gifted dribblers I have ever seen," said Darts coach Soulyvanh Phongsavath. "She is always a threat to score when she has the ball. Ireland also has a knack of scoring big goals in big games."

Anna Camp

Millard | Forward/midfielder | Senior

Camp finished the Eagles' state title run with 18 goals and 21 assists. "To her, being a senior meant leading by example, and not some feeling of entitlement," said Millard coach Dale Josse. "Immediately after school, Anna would go to cross-country practice running three-plus miles. After cross country, she would then run from the parking lot to the soccer field, gear in hand, and within seconds would be warming up with the team."

Paige Stevens

Box Elder | Forward/midfielder | Senior

Stevens was a four-year starter for the Bees, capable of playing many positions. She graduates as their all-time leader in goals scored with 54, and added 28 career assists. A 4.0 student, she has committed to play at Weber State. "Paige was determined to make the most of her senior year," said Box Elder coach Ryan Stevens, who is also her father. "Her desire to compete and win is second to none, and she never took a minute off during a game. This set an expectation of work for the whole team."

Emma Heyn

Skyline | Forward/midfielder| Senior

The Eagles star scored 26 goals and had 18 assists, making her Skyline's third all-time leading goal-scorer with 52 career goals. She was second in 4A in goals and led Class 4A in assists. Heyn led the Eagles in the playoffs with six goals. "She is a great goal-scorer and goal-producer," said Eagles coach Yamil Castillo. "She has a great nose for the ball. … Emma can score. She knows where to be to get the ball and score at her will. She is a good leader, easy to coach, and works hard."

Cameron Tucker

Lone Peak | Forward/midfielder | Junior

Tucker led her team with 22 goals and nine assists. "She is explosive in her attack towards the goal with the ball at her feet and can be lethal off the run to finish the beautiful balls she received from her talented teammates," said Knights coach Heather Dahl. "Cam's work ethic is first-rate, and she has always maintained a very coachable demeanor. With her willingness to learn, Cameron has continued to broaden her tactical knowledge of the game each year while adding new strengths to her technical game."

Holly Daugirda

Skyline | Forward/midfielder | Senior

In helping lead the Eagles to the state title, Daugirda scored 28 goals and had 15 assists, making her Skyline's all-time leading goal-scorer with 75. She was the leader in Class 4A in goals scored this year and has committed to play for the University of Utah. "She is an extremely dynamic player with great one-versus-one ability," said Skyline coach Yamil Castillo. "She is an unselfish player and great playmaker. … Holly is the most unselfish player I have ever coached in high school. She really understands respect, leadership and teamwork."

Myah Tatton

Skyline | Goalkeeper | Junior

Tatton had 101/2 shutouts on the season while allowing only 15 goals in 20 games in leading the Eagles to an 18-1-1 record. "She is always training and is the most-liked player on the team," said Skyline coach Yamil Castillo. "She is always positive and energetic. Myah made many amazing saves throughout the season. … She started every game for us this season. Myah is the most approachable player and is humble and hard-working. She acknowledges her mistakes and fixes them." —

How the All-Tribune Team for girls' soccer was chosen

Tribune and TribPreps staff used personal observations, analysis of season statistics, and input from coaches throughout the state to select an All-Tribune MVP and an additional 11-member All-Tribune Team. These players were selected from throughout the state and regardless of classification.
