A Nevada woman is facing felony charges in Utah for allegedly making bombs threats in calls to a St. George hospital's offices.

Washington County prosecutors on Monday charged the 63-year-old Mesquite, Nev. woman with two counts of making a false alarm. The charge is a second-degree felony punishable by a prison term of up to 15 years.

Court papers say the woman made calls on Monday to multiple facilities on the Dixie Regional Medical Center campus.

In one call, the woman allegedly made statements about "bombs going off" and warned employees to flee because, she said, "I've got a bomb, I'll blow the place up."

Court papers say the woman also referenced "jihad" and used expletives in the conversation.

In a second call to a different facility, the woman allegedly complained about being put on hold in the hospital phone system and about security. She also made statements about having oxygen and a lighter, blowing up the facility, and said she was going to "blow up the parking lot and contaminate the water," court papers say.

St. George police investigators traced the calls to Mesquite and sent local police to the woman's home. She was later hospitalized in Mesquite, the documents say.

Police say that in conversations with the woman, she admitted to calling the hospital facilities, but denied making any threats, although she also complained about being unhappy with doctors.

No hearings are set in the case.

A warrant for the woman's arrest was issued Monday by a 5th District court judge.
