Apparently, as long as people don't stop believin', Journey will never stop touring.

The rock supergroup will pair up with another hitmaker from the '70s and '80s, The Doobie Brothers, for a tour next summer — with a stop Sunday, August 21, at Usana Amphitheatre, 5150 S. 6055 West, West Valley City.

Journey is a frequent visitor to Utah, most recently helping celebrate the Fourth of July by headlining Provo's Stadium of Fire show at LaVell Edwards Stadium at Brigham Young University.

Opening for Journey and The Doobie Brothers on tour — starting May 12 in Irvine, Calif. — is veteran rocker Dave Mason.

Tickets for the Usana Amphitheatre show, from $44 to $135, go on sale Sunday, Dec. 5, at 10 a.m., at Smith's Tix.
