The investment manager reported fiscal fourth-quarter results that fell short of Wall Street forecasts.

• Xerox Corp., down 14 cents to $10.61

Carl Icahn bought a 7 percent stake in the business service provider and copier company and may seek board changes.

Nasdaq

• Dollar Tree Inc., up $4.61 to $74.16

The discount retailer reported third-quarter revenue that surpassed Wall Street's forecasts.

• Brocade Communications Systems Inc., down 78 cents to $9.31

The computer networking company reported better-than-expected fiscal fourth-quarter earnings, but gave a weak outlook.

• Microsemi Corp., down $2.34 to $33.87

The semiconductor maker is buying PMC-Sierra for $2.5 billion in a cash-and-stock deal, ending a three-way bidding war.

• Boulder Brands Inc., up 85 cents to $10.92

The maker of natural and organic food brands such as Udi's and Glutino is being bought by Pinnacle Foods Inc. for $710 million.
