Police suspect a medical condition led to the crash of a pickup truck into a West Valley City Subway restaurant Wednesday morning.

The man's truck broke through a plate glass window and into the dining area of the sandwich shop at 4100 S. 4000 West about 8:15 a.m.

No one inside the restaurant was reported hurt, West Valley City police spokeswoman Roxeanne Vainuku said.

The driver, in his late-30s, suffered minor injuries. After being evaluated by medical personnel at the scene, he was transported to the hospital, where he was listed in good condition.

The restaurant was closed pending repairs.
