They are grown mainly in England and the eastern coast of the United States.

Beaujolais nouveau celebration at Current

Celebrate the 2015 release of Beaujolais nouveau wine at Current Fish and Oyster in Salt Lake City. Through the end of November, the Salt Lake City restaurant will add a variety of wines to the menu from this French wine-growing region. Beaujolais nouveau, which means new, is made with red gamay grapes and brought to market almost immediately after fermentation. Under French law, Beaujolais nouveau is officially released every year on the third Thursday of November. This year that is Nov. 19. A few days before that, hundreds of trucks will invade the region to carry the containers to be shipped by land, sea and air.
