The Christmas carols have started pouring out on the Salt Lake City radio airwaves, with two stations kicking into holiday music over the Halloween weekend.

KEGH, 105.1 FM, didn't even wait for the trick-or-treaters to finish up on Saturday night, as the Broadway Media station (which usually simulcast's country music station The Eagle 101.5) launched into Christmas music.

On Sunday, KSQN-FM, known as Sunny 103.1 switched over from its pop format to wall-to-wall holiday music.

So far, Bonneville International's KSFI-FM — better known as FM100.3 — has held off from making its annual switch to Christmas tunes. It's only a matter of time, though.

Subscribers of SiriusXM will find the satellite-radio service has launched two holiday channels today, with seven more coming between now and New Year's Eve.
