Investigators suspect that a missing person from Las Vegas crashed and died in Washington County.

At about 1:50 p.m. Friday, a person found human remains while moving cattle about 9 miles southwest of Enterprise Reservoir, according to a Washington County Sheriff's Office news release.

Deputies arrived and discovered that the remains were near a vehicle that appeared to have been involved in a crash. The vehicle has out-of-state plates, and the remains have been "tentatively identified as those of a missing person out of Las Vegas," according to the release.

A state medical examiner will confirm the body's identity.
