The headliner for the ninth installment of the The Tribune's statewide top 25 is Herriman, which hurdled Timpview, Springville and Mountain Crest — all of whom won this past Friday — to take over the seventh spot. The Mustangs have won six straight game, and were simply too talented to keep any lower at this point in the season. Aside from Herriman, the top 10 remained unchanged once again.

Bu that's where things get just-a-wee-bit tricky. Wasatch shot up the rankings with its upset against Maple Mountain, which was ranked No. 12 at the time. The Wasps' inclusion in the rankings produced the ripple effect, dropping Juan Diego, South Summit and Hunter in the rankings despite each team registering wins.

American Fork and Roy also suffered setbacks alongside the Golden Eagles. That helped Fremont, Highland, Olympus, Logan and Dixie increase their rankings each by three spots. The Cavemen dropped eight places, so too did Maple Mountain, while Roy fell three spots. Hard to blame the Royals for losing against Sky View.

So, without further adieu, the complete top 25 rankings for Week 9:
