A toddler died after being struck by a car in an apartment parking lot Tuesday in South Ogden.
The girl, 18 months old, was in the parking lot of the Canyon Rim apartments, near 6045 S. Ridgeline Drive, about 9 p.m. Tuesday when she was struck, South Ogden police reported on Wednesday.
"Despite immediate medical care on scene, and by medical staff at Ogden Regional Medical Center, she did not survive her injuries," police wrote in a statement.
Officers did not release the child's name or further details as to how the crash occurred.
