The last week of July has been a fruitful one for BYU basketball coach Dave Rose.

A day after landing Elon University transfer Elijah Bryant, Rose got a commitment on Wednesday from the high school senior widely believed to be the best player in Idaho.

Combo guard Connor Harding committed to Rose, according to to the 6-foot-5 wing's Twitter account.

Harding will be a senior at Pocatello's Highland High, the same school that produced BYU quarterback Taysom Hill.

Harding is ranked No. 99 on ESPN's Top 100 for the class of 2016.

He averaged 16.6 points and 8.5 rebounds as a junior to help the Rams make it to the Idaho 5A state championship game.

In the summer, Harding plays for the Utah Prospects AAU team along with Timpview's Gavin Baxter, who has also committed to BYU.

Harding is expected to go on an LDS Church mission before enrolling at BYU.
