El Sol de México, "The Son of Mexico," is making his first appearance in Utah.

Latin American music icon Luis Miguel, who has sold 100 million records and won five Latin Grammys, will perform his first-ever concert in Utah, set for Friday, Sept 11, at Usana Amphitheatre, 5150 S. 6055 West, West Valley City.

Miguel performs a wide range of musical styles: Pop, ballads, boleros and mariachi. Over his 30-year career, he has gained a reputation for both his well-produced albums and strong live shows.

Tickets for Miguel's Utah concert go on sale Saturday, starting at 10 a.m., at Smith's Tix. Starting next Tuesday, Aug. 4, tickets also will be available at Rancho Markets.
