Two men suspected of robbing a taco stand were arrested Tuesday afternoon in Salt Lake City.

The taco stand robbery was reported about 1:20 p.m. near 950 N. 900 West, Salt Lake City police said.

Witnesses said the suspects fled in a grey or silver Jeep without license plates, police said

Officers spotted the Jeep in Glendale and chased it to 600 South and Navajo Street (1300 West), where the driver lost control and hit the curb. The driver ran, while the passenger stayed with the Jeep, police said.

Both were arrested.
