A Kaysville woman was killed Friday night in Logan Canyon after her northbound Subaru drifted into the southbound lane and hit another vehicle head-on, the Utah Highway Patrol says.

The collision occurred about 8:45 p.m. on State Road 89 about a mile south of the Beaver Mountain ski resort turn-off.

The driver of the Subaru, Tiffani Balling, 23, was killed, the UHP reported Saturday.

Five other people were taken to Logan hospitals in stable condition, UHP said. The driver of the other vehicle had serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
