Janet Jackson announced a world tour today — and Salt Lake City is one of the stops on the opening leg in North America.

Jackson's "Unbreakable World Tour" will play Saturday, Oct. 24, at EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City.

Jackson, 49, will use the tour — which starts Aug. 31 in Vancouver, B.C. — to promote her latest album, set to be released this fall. Presumably, she'll also bust out her hits from the last 30 years, such as "What Have You Done For Me Lately?," "Nasty," "When I Think of You," "Miss You Much," "Escapade," "That's the Way Love Goes" and others.

Tickets for Jackson's EnergySolutions Arena show — ranging from $26.75 to $122 — go on sale Monday, June 22, at Smith's Tix.
