Dakota Donovan

Pitcher | Pine View | Junior

10-0 W-L | 1.10 ERA 92 strikeouts | 31 hits 30 RBIs | 2 HRs

ANALYSIS • "His consistency throughout the whole season. Anytime a kid throws 10-0 with a couple of saves from the preseason on, obviously it shows what kind of character he has and who he is. On the other side, on the bat, he continually got better. He doesn't do much hitting time in the summer, but throughout the season he kept getting better and better."

—Michael Gargano, Pine View coach.

Sean Keating

Pitcher | Bingham | Junior

10-1 W-L | 2.33 ERA 71 strikeouts | 46 hits 35 RBIs | 10 doubles 5 HRs

Analysis • "He's a mid-80s guy on the mound, and has a decent breaking ball. And as a hitter, as you saw in the state tournament, middle of the order for us. He hit over .400 for us with some home runs. He provided a pretty solid bat. Sean went about his business and worked hard, which is what he does. He had great success."

— Joey Sato, Bingham coach

Payton Henry

Catcher | Pleasant Grove Junior

.527 avg. | 48 hits | 46 RBIs 11 doubles | 9 HRs .991 fielding percentage 1-1 W-L | 13 strikeouts

Analysis • "Rarely did anyone steal on him. That was the key this year. We shut down everyone's running game because in the first game they'd try and run on us, and he'd throw them out. It was so comforting to have him back there. He started all 30 games, and it made it so other teams couldn't run because of his ability to throw guys out."

— Darrin Henry, Pleasant Grove coach
