Utahns celebrated the state's diverse Asian cultures Saturday at the 38th Annual Asian Festival with live entertainment, food, exhibits and hands-on demonstrations.

This year's event at the South Towne Expo Center in Sandy featured Utah's Bhutanese, Cambodian, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Laotian, Taiwanese, Thai, Tibetan and Vietnamese communities.

Entertainment included a countries cook-off, children's fashion show and Lion Dance plus dragon boat rides and a children's activity center celebrating the Year of the Ram/Sheep.
