A Park City man is still fighting for his life after he and a bus collided in Summit County.

Jeremy J. Morgan, 24, was driving his motorcycle southbound on State Route 32 on Saturday morning when a northbound bus turned left in front of him at Browns Canyon Road, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. The intersection is on the northern border of Peoa.

"The motorcycle rider slid under the vehicle," UHP reported in a news release.

Morgan was flown to the hospital in critical condition, where doctors have tried to stabilize him. As of Monday he was still "extremely critical," said Trooper Evan Kirby.

Morgan is a wildlands firefighter and volunteered his time as a ski patroller and as a firefighter for the North Summit Fire Department.

"Jeremy is a kind hearted young man," his brother Jason Morgan wrote on an online fundraiser at YouCaring. "His charismatic, witty, and selfless personality make Jeremy one of the most loved individuals in our small town."

No one in the bus was hurt.
