A Price woman was killed Thursday when she hit a guardrail on the side of State Route 6 and was thrown off her motorcycle.

The Utah Highway Patrol said wind turbulence from a passing vehicle caused Judy A. Jones, 51, to lose control of the motorcycle and go off the side of the road.

Jones was traveling west about 20 miles south of Wellington when the accident occurred at 2:52 p.m., UHP said.
