After two rounds of pouring rain, Utahns can expect mountain snow, chilly temperatures and blustery winds for Sunday.

Snowfall in the mountains is expected to continue through Sunday morning, with snow levels falling to about 6,500 feet. In those elevations, winter driving conditions are still possible on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Meteorologists also expect gusty, northwesterly winds to develop near Point of the Mountain, in Castle Country and in the outlying areas of Southern Utah. The winds could continue in the Southern Utah areas into Sunday night.

A hard freeze is possible across a few of Utah's outlying western valleys Sunday night as well, according to the weather service.

Otherwise, temperatures are warming up. Salt Lake City can expect a high of 53, followed by a high of 66 on Monday. St. George can expect highs of 67 and 80.

Mulberry pollen remained "very high" as of at least Friday, according to the Intermountain Allergy and Asthma Center. Oak pollen was high, while maple, sycamore and cottonwood levels were moderate.

The rain this weekend left more than 2 inches in Bountiful, and more than an inch in Salt Lake City and South Ogden.
