One of five Rexburg, Idaho area college students injured in an SUV rollover on Interstate 15 in Box Elder County last month has died.

Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce on Tuesday confirmed that Brigham Young University-Idaho student Miguel Banuelos-Carreon, 24, had died at McKay-Dee Hospital this past Sunday.

One other student, like Banuelos-Carreon ejected from the Nissan Pathfinder about 6:45 p.m. on March 27, remained in serious condition, while three others had earlier been treated for minor injuries.

UHP believes the rollover was caused when a left rear tire blew out as the vehicle traveled southbound on I-15, about 3 miles north of Tremonton.
