Richfield • Manti's Connor Bolles elevated off one foot, thundering the rim with both hands. Enterprise had no other option than to call timeout to dull the raucous crowd as the junior impersonated Jason "The Jet" Terry on his way to the opposite end.

There aren't many players in the 2A classification with the type of athleticism as Bolles, who showcased his entire repertoire in the Templars' 67-54 semifinal win at the Sevier Valley Center on Friday night.

"Connor did a great job. We'll have to see his deflections count, but he got his hands on 20-25 balls," Manti's first-year coach Devin Shakespear said. "We forced [29] turnovers, and Connor had his hands a lot of those that came out for steals."

Offensively, Bolles netted a game-high 25 points on 10 of 15 shots from the floor, while grabbing three rebounds and dishing out two assists. He was credited with five steals, while Trevor Alder (16 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals) and Derek Wright (14 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals) continued to contribute to one of the most-balanced attacks in the classification.

Manti (19-6) earned a date with Emery in its first state championship since winning it all in 2008. The Templars enjoyed the support of a huge following Friday, and Shakespear is expecting much of the same on Saturday.

"They play quick, we play quick," he said. "Toss it up."
