For the past two years, it has been one of the most frequent topics of discussion among observers of Utah high school football: What will this Britain Covey kid do on the next level?

Those observers won't have to travel far to get their answer.

As quarterback, Utah's latest commit led Timpview — coached by Cary Whittingham, the brother of Utah head coach Kyle — to its third straight 4A title this season, and finished his high school career with almost 7,400 yards of total offense and 100 touchdowns.

Standing just 5-foot-9 but exceptionally quick and blessed with excellent field vision, Covey is rated as a two-star recruit by Rivals, with offers from BYU, Utah State and Harvard, and is expected to play wideout at the next level.
