Beer Bar's former beer guru, Kyle Trammell, has gone missing.
The 26-year-old South Salt Lake man has been missing since Tuesday, when he did not show up to work in Ogden. A South Salt Lake police detective is trying to track him down.
"His phone has been shut off and all social media deleted. We are worried about our friend," Robby Petrich posted on Tumblr.
Trammell previously brewed in the Salt Lake Valley for Bohemian, Red Rock breweries and Beer Bar.
About six month ago, he left Beer Bar — which is part-owned by actor Ty Burrell, best known as the goofy dad on "Modern Family" — to work at The Barrelhouse in Ogden.
"There's not a whole lot to go on," said South Salt Lake police spokesman Gary Keller on Wednesday, adding that at this point, there's nothing to suggest foul play. "His girlfriend said he was depressed when she last talked to him."
Trammell drives a black 2007 Subaru Legacy, which Petrich pointed out has dark tinted windows. South Salt Lake police did not have a physical description of Trammell readily available.
