Mourners and people wanting to honor lost loved ones gathered Saturday night at Salt Lake City Cemetery to remember children who have died.

They participated in the annual Christmas Box Angel ceremony. This year's ceremony fell on the fifth anniversary of the disappearance of West Valley City wife and mother Susan Powell. Her sons, 7-year-old Charlie and 5-year-old Braden, died in 2012 when their father, Josh Powell, killed them and then himself.

Friends of Susan Powell encouraged people in Utah wanting to mark the anniversary to attend the Christmas Box Angel ceremony.
