Help The Salt Lake Tribune help homeless teens
The Salt Lake Tribune's staff is collecting donations to assist Volunteers of America, an organization that helps homeless teens. We'd love you, our readers, to get involved and stop by our Friday charity pickup. We are offering raffle tickets that can be entered into one of four drawings for the following prizes.
1) A signed 2016 Pat Bagley print.
Pick any Bagley cartoon from the past year and he'll sign it for you.
2) Lunch with Robert Kirby.
You and a friend can have lunch on Kirby and he even promises to try to behave himself.
3) A behind-the-scenes Utah Jazz experience.
The winner will get a voucher for two lower bowl tickets and a Tribune employee will escort them to the press room before the game and to the post-game press conference.
4) Help Scott Pierce review a new TV show.
You get to join television critic Scott Pierce at the Tribune to screen a show before it airs for the general public.
You can pick from:
-- "The Mick" (airing Jan. 1) a new Fox sitcom
-- "Emerald City" (airing Jan. 6) NBC drama based on "The Wizard of Oz"
-- "Victoria" (airing Jan. 15) a PBS Masterpiece drama
-- "24: Legacy" (airing Feb. 5) the reboot of the Fox hit
-- "Doubt" (airing Feb. 15) a CBS legal drama starring Katherine Heigl
The Tribune will collect donations at the Volunteers of America's new Youth Resource Center (888 South 400 West) each Friday from noon to 6 p.m. beginning Nov. 25 and ending Dec. 16. If you need to make alternative arrangements, please contact email@example.com.
