Make tracks for Tarahumara
If you know about this place, you either live in the area, visit often or know someone who does. For the past year, Tarahumara has existed in Midway, a town with few options to eat - and some of them aren't very good.
So naturally, its good food attracts everyone from the local families who need dinner after a pastoral bike ride and local workers craving barbacoa (braised lamb) tortas, to the golfers and the odd dirt biker ordering a cold Dos Equis and an enchilada platter at the front counter.
Everything is made from scratch, and nothing will set you back more than $11. Surprisingly, seafood makes for some of the best meals. Dessert fans should consider the exceptional churros, margarita cheesecake, decadent tres leches or an order of dense flan.
Tarahumara is at 380 E. Main St., Midway; 435-654-3465. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The handmade single-origin chocolate bars made by Utah's Amano Artisan Chocolate have earned accolades from national and international peers. During the 2007 San Francisco International Chocolate Salon, the Orem-based company received gold medals for Best Dark Chocolate, Best Dark Chocolate Bar and Most Gifted Chocolatier. Amano was one of 27 premium chocolatiers that participated in the tasting. The company's hand-made Ocumare Grand Cru Dark Chocolate Bar, made from Venezuelan cocoa, also was a finalist for Outstanding New Product at the 2007 Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City.
