$22.99 » The ubiquitous sizzling fajita platter is kids' play compared to this monster cauldron of surf and turf and everything in between at El Paisa Grill. A pale green tomatillo-based sauce simmers gently at the bottom with slices of beef, chicken and skewered shrimp. Be aware that this behemoth is intended to serve two. The accompanying corn tortillas are griddled for a slight bit of crunch and heft. Drizzle over a bit of sauce and add a nibble or two of char grilled spring onions (tiny white bulbs), nopales and jalapeños. Repeat until you are full.

El Paisa Grill is at 2126 S. 3200 West, West Valley City; 801-973-6660. Open daily, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.-- Vanessa Chang
