Jorge Fierro, founder of the popular Rico brand of Mexican products, has opened Frida Bistro at 545 W. 700 South, Salt Lake City. Named for famed Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, it replaces the short-lived Café by Rico. The fine-dining restaurant currently is serving lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner service is expected to start in January.
