$2.95 » Himalayan Kitchen's crispy shards are a good introduction to those who've never had (nor liked) Indian cuisine. Anyone who enjoys a good onion ring, in fact, can immediately understand the appeal of a crispy coating and sweet-tender onions.

In this case, the crunch comes from chick pea (garbanzo) flour and the onion's flavor is supplemented by spices such as cumin. Dip each into the red-brown tamarind chutney for tang or the blended mint chutney for a refreshing bite.
