Paddle Festival at Little Dell

The 11th annual Utah Rivers Council Paddle Festival is Saturday (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Sunday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at Little Dell Reservoir, 15 minutes east of Salt Lake City, exit 134 off I-80. Activities include boat demonstrations, paddling instruction and fly-fishing clinics. Entry is $10 for adults and $6 for children 6-12. Proceeds benefit the Utah Rivers Council. Western Rivers

Fly Fishing Fair

Western Rivers Flyfisher, 1071 E. 900 South, Salt Lake City, holds its annual Fly Fishing Fair Saturday. WRF's staff and fly-fishing representatives from Sage, Scott, Winston, Lamson, Ross, Nautilus, Simms, Cloudveil, RIO and SA will be on hand. The fair is free to the public and runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
