Aquatic events, music in Evanston

The white-water park in Evanston, Wyo., is the site of the annual BEARiverFest. Events are free, run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and include kayak, canoe and paddle-boat demonstrations, fly-fishing demonstrations, an outdoor-gear swap, children's fishing and crawdad-catching contests, kayak races and live bands. Talk on Blue Ribbon waters in SLC

The Stonefly Society of Trout Unlimited and Western Rivers Flyfisher are hosting a program on the state's Blue Ribbon Fisheries program tonight at 7 at the store, 1071 E. 900 South, Salt Lake City.
